Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 2 cans canned peaches in juice 15 oz each, drained
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Dish:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Prepare Peach Filling:

  • Drain the canned peaches and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add brown sugar, cornstarch-water mixture, and ground cinnamon.
  • Mix gently to combine, then set aside.

Prepare Cake Mix Topping:

  • In another bowl, combine the cake mix with melted butter. Do not add water or eggs—just the butter.
  • Stir until the mixture is crumbly and evenly coated with butter.

Assemble the Cobbler:

  • Spread the peach filling evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix topping over the peaches, covering as much of the surface as possible.

Bake:

  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Check Doneness:

  • Check for doneness by looking for a golden brown top and inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, it's ready!

Serve:

  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
